April Showers Bring More Workshops
So much to do! So much to see!
Woo! The weather has warmed up, and suddenly I find myself juggling various events, workshops, and community collaborations all at once. I’m helping two separate organizations cultivate native gardens in their greenspaces annnd figuring out programming for the rest of the year all at once. Eee! Good thing I’ve been getting help from friends and through the kindness of StagPath supporters. 🥰
Tomorrow (4/24/2026) I’ll be vending at OSU’s Earth Day Celebration. Come find me in the South Oval! I’ll hopefully be seated next to my friend, Valerie the paw paw farmer, and accompanied by Matt, my WWOOF volunteer.
On Monday (04/27/2026), Adventure Club meets for the first time at The Pollen Patch!
What is Adventure Club? It’s a new way to experience central Ohio landscapes through hikes, farm visits, citizen science opportunities, talks with researchers, nature-based crafts, and more!
Adventure Club meets every month at various times and places for a mix of both adult-only and family-friendly experiences. If you miss a gathering, you’ll still receive extra resources that can be accessed through an online portal.
An Adventure Club Membership currently costs $20 a month with Stag Path, but this gathering at is free to the public!
We will have activities for children including a garden scavenger hunt, chalk, bubble wands, kid-sized gardening tools, a prize wheel and more!
We will also have our herbal tea bar available as well as nature guidebooks, cool natural resources found right here in Ohio and dozens of native medicinal plants to interact with.
If you keep telling yourself you’ll get outside more, learn more about your surroundings, and connect with other nature nerds...here is your chance!
PUT DOWN THE REMOTE! 📺 GET OFF YOUR PHONE! 🤳 AND LET’S GO ON AN ADVENTURE!
